Im scared....

I recently had unprotected sex with an uninfected partner but i am an infected female with Herpes Simplex 2 &HIV
we did anal oral and vaginal sex i wasn't expecting to do all of that but we did. But i am on daily medications for both diseases i never miss dosses what are the chances that he could have contracted something from me?? i realy need to know.

thank you i doubted that i would transmitt anything to him because im very good about taking my meds i havent missed any doses.

the risk of transmitting either from a one time encounter is very low but not impossible. Far more likely not to have happened than it was to have infected them with either.

have you talked to this partner?

you can also talk to your local health department to see if they will do partner informing anonymously for you too if you aren't comfortable talking to this partner.   also cover your own bases with proper std testing at the proper times - chlamydia , gonorrhea and trich anytime after 1 week post encounter, syphilis after 6 weeks, hepatitis after 3 months.
