Risk of transmission of herpes through canker sore?

Hi i am a 28 year old female. I was diagnosed with both genital and oral herpes a few years back. I do take acyclovir daily for suppression. I bit my lip a few days ago and i have developed a canker sore on my lip. My and my partner had sex last night and i was wnoder what is the chance that i could have possibly transmitted the herpes virus through the canker sore if any?

HSV doesn't spread like that. It spreads by contact with the virus through skin to skin contact during asymptomatic shedding of the virus or a lesion. Not canker sores. Canker sores are totally different than HSV

Well i know that herpes is spread through cuts or open sores, i just wasnt sureif canker sores could potentially increase the risk on passing on the virus and i was driving myself crazy thinking about it. But thank you!
