Scared a little, is it herpes?
So in the last couple weeks I had an unprotected drunken one night stand with a girl (who turns out is well known to other local lads) and not long later I noticed 3 lumps under my foreskin on my penis head and further down the shaft under the skin that are pretty sore. I went to the GUM clinic and the lady reckons its either herpes or thrush, except I've not had any flu like symptoms or body aches at all. The swab results wont be back for a week, I dunno if i'm just clutching at straws here just wanted to see what you guys think before I spend the whole week panicy and miserable! Thanks for reading

It would be more usual for the sores to proceed to a blister like state and scab over during the course of around a week.
It may be too late to swab now, hence a blood test at 12 weeks post exposure or swabbing a fresh sore if it arises.
