Do I have Herpes?

3 weeks ago I had unprotected sex with 22 year old girl. 17 days after exposure I developed a red bumpy rash on the shaft of my pennis and I've had a very mild burning sensation at the tip of the pennis. I haven got swollen lymph glands or fever or blisters and the rash doesn't hurt or itch.Im Waiting for my test results but does it sound like herpes?

The odds are low it is herpes but not impossible. I am assuming you took an IgG type-specific test. If you were infected, only about 40% of newly infected people would produce antibodies in 17 days. So your results will not be conclusive if negative.

Be kind to yourself and get in the habit of consistently using condoms, which are the single most effective way of reducing the transmission of all stds.
