Can HSV1 iGg Levels drop?

Hello All!

In March it was confirmed that I had gHSV1. I had my first break out at that time, got a culture done (positive) was given Valtrex and a topical cream. Took the dosage of the Valtrex that my doctor provided and my outbreak went away within 3 days.
Later on, (probably a week after) I got a blood test done and the iGm came back negative for both HSV1 & HSV2. My iGm test came back with HSV1 -- 2.41, and HSV2 <0.00. Which at that point further confirmed what I already knew...
I have not had an outbreak since my original one (and to my understanding due to the type and location of HSV1, the amount of OBs I will have may be low), and I was wondering if over time, your iGg levels decrease?
...not to fully go away but to a 1.09 , which is the detectable level to say "yeah you have this".
I plan on getting tested again  when I get my physical/blood work done in the upcoming year, but I just wanted to see if any one had any input. :)

Why bother testing again? You have ghsv1. The igg blood test for hsv1 is no where near as good as the test for hsv2. Hsv1 igg tests miss uo to 30% of infections.
Blood tests do not look for the virus. They look for antibodies.

We have been over the odds of spreading the virus. Your levels make no differance.
well I get blood work done every year for other reasons and I always incorporate STD checks into it...I was just curious to see if it was something that  happens...not so much for the sake of knowing I was less potent or something or looking for a different answer lol
