Can hsv-1 be spread through saliva alone?

I am a middle aged male and I have this fantasy of a woman spitting all over my face and in my mouth, repeatedly. Disturbing, I know, but I've met someone recently who is interested in carrying out this fantasy with me. I  was wondering if I could get oral herpes this way. I've never had a cold sore and it would be rather awkward to suddenly start getting them, people might wonder what I've been up to. I've read mixed articles and reports on the subject hsv-1 transmission and am just wondering how risky this behavior might be. Thanks.

No, oral herpes requires some friction to transmit. Kids can transmit it via toys, but they are all putting those toys in their mouths and gumming them.

However, other things can be transmitted this way, mostly colds and flus, strep, etc. Make sure your partner feels good the day of, and maybe has had a flu shot (you might want to if you haven't already). Here's an article that may help - https://tonic.vice.com/en_us/article/vvxvdm/what-can-i-catch-if-someone-spits-on-my-face
