Strange/Atypical initial outbreak?

About a week ago i was with someone that has tested positive for herpes...we have been dating for a while now and wanted to be together. i was wearing a condom when we had sex and the condom was in tact after sex. well, 2 days ago i notice a pimple like thing on my shaft base and was kinda squeezing on it a bit...i had shaved my hair just days prior to my possible exposure also and there was general irritation in the area. but now the spot has another similar occurence about a milimeter or 2 apart. the classic symptoms of herpes are not present but in trying to find out more i have truly just become more paranoid...also yesterday i went to the clinic and a doctor told me they would do a blood test but sai "thats not herpes" of my two "sores". that is really all i noticed or was there and i had no symptoms like flu-like, fever or any tingling anywere....however now i have noticed a single small blister on the bottom of my testicles that is very painful...i feel a bit betrayed by the med professional that i spoke too and have lost any confidence i gained from the visit any information that could either calm me down a bit or help me come to grips with the idea would be appreciated...im tired of surfing the net trying to disprove my gut feeling...

A blood test at this point isn't very worthwhile. It will give you a baseline herpes status but you really needed to have a lesion culture done of these symptoms at this point.

If you get more lesions, see your provider again tuesday ( I assume for most folks posting here this is a holiday weekend ) and see if you can get a lesion culture done of the newest lesions.

Doesn't sound like herpes at all and a rawness in the testicles isn't a herpes symptom. Herpes rarely affects the scrotum mostly because the skin is thicker than your penis and there is usually hair which sort of works as a barrier for herpes. Put some antifugal cream on your scrotum and be done with it.

its not really easy to open but will if i pinch it with fingernails...hurts to bad to do that tho...and its the only one that looks like that. My scrotum feels a bit raw however. Also the sores that are near the base of my shaft close up rapidly if i open them...they dont really crust over but a scab does form. They are raised and feel semi hard under the surface. they dont hurt really but are generally sore all day and have really not healed...most of the time razor burn or zits in that area heal faster than that for me.
i appreciate your giving your advice slacker thank you...

Doesn't sound like herpes to me. I think your spending way to much time looking for something. Is this blister fluid filled and very easy to break open? I bet it's not. You''re looking at normal variations of the skin amplified by anxiety. Is this girl on Valtrex? If so and she is NOT experiencing any prodromes, the chances are nil you will catch anything. You're fine.
