Tingling - is it herpes?

Please help this is driving me nuts!
I had protected sex about 1 month and a half ago.  I noticed a tiny spot on my penis that just looked like irritation, the doctor checked it out and did not think it was anything.  Since then it has gone down tremendously and no signs of a normal herpes outbreak.  However, recently I have been having a tingling/burning/itching sensation around my thighs, buttocks, genitals, and sometimes near my upper calf. There has been no sign of outbreak. Am I just paranoid? This is driving me crazy!

Thanks so much for the quick reply!

It has been tingling for about two weeks now. Does tingling normally last this long if it was herpes? And does tingling always lead to outbreak?

Yes, if the condom covered the "spot", it is probably not herpes.  Since you have not had an out break,  you should be in the clear with respect to this sexual act and herpes.

hi, tingling is a symptom of an old infection not a new one and is a tool used to prodict an upcoming outbreak. Its not for a recent infection symptom.
