Tongue herpes?

I applied the herpes cream on my upper lip and accidently licked it. What do I do to prevent tongue herpes? Also, I once applied the cream and was sweating, the sweat ran down my cream-applied area and into mymouth and tongue. Can my tongue be infected from that? How do I prevent it from being infected?

Hi, oral herpes outbreaks are not passed topical like your describing but come up from a nerve from you spine area.
