Yes, with no genital sore at the time, i would still feel very low risk.
Does a one time encounter (protected sex twice in one night) still constitute as low risk?
I would not be concerned at 8 weeks, only as a rule of thumb. But i will say that protected sex where no sore is visiable is very low risk and if it was just one time, would be close to zero.
Would you be be concerned that I retest at 12 weeks if I already had a negative at 4 weeks & haven't had an outbreak yet? I've had some mild itching, but Dr. Hanfield said usually any symptoms in The genital area without any bumps/lesions isn't a cause for concern.
Hi, testing at 4 months would be conclusive and the only pre 4 month test that could be considered a good indicator would be at 8 weeks.
Hope this helps
