Worried I have Genital Herpes
Hi, I am 19 years old and I have discovered a pimple like red spot on the middle of my penis. I am worried I have acquired Herpes and would like some medical thoughts on this subject. I have recently broke out in mild acne on my chest just to add to my situation. I have had unprotected sex a bit over a month ago and am hoping that time span is to long, and should have experienced a pimple like spot on my penis a lot earlier if it was herpes. Any thoughts in easing or alerting me about my situation would be greatly appreciated
thank you, just to add on to my first post, this red spot does not itch or hurt in any way. Also, i used oil based cream on my penis a few days ago for the first time, knowing my body is very sensitive to oil based cream since i usually break out in acne
you should be seen as soon as you can to have this looked at. if it is herpes, cultures are most accurate if done within 48 hours of the appearance of symptoms.
this could be many things so a proper work up is in order.
