March 1st I had an incident that involved oral sex, anal, and vaginal. No condom was used by this person. I am worried that I could have contracted hpv, herpes, or chlamydia in my throat. I was given anti hiv medications to take for a few days. I was also given 2 grams of zithromax orally, and 500mg of metronidazole. After receiving these medications I was told (by a health care professional) that these medications might cause a yeast infecetion and I may have to get treated for that.
A few weeks after I developed what appears to be a bery very mild cause of angular cheilitis. I suppose I would be at risk considering I do have eczema on and off. Right not I actually have a little eczema patch on my stomach. I used to get it in the crease of my arms, sometimes around my colar bone and on my hand. I am worried that I may have a yeast infection or herpes simplex in my throat!
I would not doubt that I may have the herpes virus in my throat. The oral activity that took place was be very aggressive as well as all other parts.. anal, vaginal. I have NEVER had this kind of pain in my throat before. I've been gargling with apple cider vinegar.. even drinking small amounts, and chewing raw garlic! These methods have helped a little. Ive been repeating them.
I highly suspect I could be infected with type 2 herpes in my throat!!! I am aware this is uncommon but from what I read not impossible. If it wasn't impossible I wouldn't be so concerned it could be this virus but the way my body works is I usually get strange things... such as breaking out in rashes due to face wash or makeup I've used before or breaking out in hives ALL over my body that lasted like 7 days! I don't feel good but at the same time I haven't been to sleep before midnight for like 3 weeks now. My throat isn't soar as in how it feels when I'm coming down with the cold. It's more of a pain I feel in my throat. The pain isn't there all the time when I swallow but at times I can feel it at like the lowest base of my throat. I have not gotten any blisters inside my mouth or around my mouth. I just have what appears to be slight inflammation at both corners of my mouth that are dry and sometimes a little itchy. There are no bumps either. My tongue has been a little more coated then usual and when I brush my teeth and I brush my tongue the white coating doesn't come off all the way! This never happens. Anytime I brush my tongue and if there is plaque on it.. all the plaque comes off and my tongue is only pink and clear of any white coating. I'm very worried. I am however trying to stay calm since stress is not going to help my body get better but I've been under tons of stress and anxiety lately. I'm worried that if it is a hsv 2 infection in my throat I could spread it to my boyfriend in about 2 weeks when I see him and he kisses me. I am going to try get more sleep and help my body rejuvenate and hopefully fight off what's going on. I'm just wondering what this could be? I heard that even if it is a hsv infection or chlamydia infection in my throat I may not know because it's so hard to diagnose without sores and I have none that I can see. :( I also broke out in a very small rash on my forehead and chin but it's been clearing up since I wash my face and don't put any sort of lotion on after. So basically my rashis ddrying out on its own. Plus when I put hydrogen peroxide at the corners of my mouth it fuzzes, tingles, gets a little itchy then gets less and less noticeable.
Please give me an opinion as to what this situation be. I am going to the doctor and I'm supposed to continue to get tested for 3 months but test results take so long and I would hate for the situation to get worse.
What if the doctor gives me something for what he thinks it is but it's wrong diagnosis and the situation gets worse? As I said before I would be devastated if I gave the man in my life (new boyfriend) anything. I adore him he's amazing and I'm trying to protect him but feel it's too soon to tell him my worries. He's been so supportive but I know he's been stressed as well, and I don't want to add to that.
P.S. The pain in my throat is not unbearable but I do still feel it even without swallowing. When I swallow it's a softer pain not sharp. I do have that achy body feeling though but then again I haven't been getting much sleep especially not at appropriate hours.
