alright. thanks for info/input.
if you posted your test results properly, no you don't have either hsv1 or hsv2. both results are negative. your provider was evidently confused by the equivocal range which is not positive.
indeed. So basically you're saying the doctor I saw (specifically the range they are using - '>0.9 means positive') is outright wrong?
seeing as how you tested negative, certainly nothing unethical by not talking about it though talking about herpes in general with anyone you are going to be sexually active with is a good idea.
to add to that thought - it's basically a question of 'am I being unethical by not bringing this up' vs. 'am I causing undue worry/stress about something utterly meaningless'.
I suppose I'm wondering..what does the science say to that end?
Ya I'm just kind of left in limbo..thinking: when I meet someone, do I mention this or is it not even worth mentioning.
well if it really matters, you'd have to wait and repeat your herpes igg again 3 months after you last kissed anyone. totally up to you if it's worth repeating it at this point or not.
Kissed someone 6 days before testing.
Before that, 24 days before testing.
your hsv2 is negative.
when was the last time you kissed anyone prior to testing?
