so what testing have they been doing for you? did they do any basic urine testing? did they send off any swabs or urine for chlamydia, gonorrhea and trich? I'm guessing no from your last paragraph? unfortunate for you since they've treated you with antibiotics. You can be tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea, trich and ngu anytime after 1 week post encounter. syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes, hiv and hepatitis after 3 months.
always protect yourself in the future and only have protected sexual contact! It saves you worry, protects you and saves you from testing frequently too.
do your symptoms sound like herpes? no they do not. herpes symptoms won't linger like this. It really sounds more like normal penile papules more than anything but of course I haven't seen your symptoms - your providers have. continue to follow up with them regularly. also continue to try to retract your foreskin daily and clean under it. This is actually something your parents should've started doing for you and teaching you since you were a preschooler! Not retracting and cleaning properly can lead to infections as you've already found out :(
follow up on testing at the proper times. If you've had no testing done at all so far, since you had antibiotics, wait a month and get the chlamydia, ngu, trich and gonorrhea testing done then - you need to give the antibiotics you took time to not cause a false negative. Avoid sex until after you've follow up on your testing too.
keep asking questions!

I did take VDRL test three times after the incident. And it all came negative. I was not suggested to take the tests for other infections you've mentioned though. The Doc said that we can only ascertain what the infection is after 3 months and said he's going to keep me under broad spectrum antibiotics until then, after which we can take an std test that will capture all types of infection. I do not have knowledge as yet as to what the test is and its range of extent.
I'm taking bactrim, once a day so that the prostrate infection does not return for the next 35 days. Will this affect the results of the tests that you've suggested?
Also, can penile papules appear on the tip/inside of the foreskin? They are not warts are they? These tiny spots are inside of he foreskin, but when i retract a bit, you can see them clearly, but very tiny.
Here is a link to the pictures of my symptoms.

Please help!
we don't look at pictures here, why not is explained in our read before posting post on the forum.
you can still test for herpes, hiv and hepatitis at the proper times. how long post encounter was your last syphilis test done? It's unfortunate that the other testing wasn't done properly before you were started on all these antibiotics long term :(
at this point, just continue to follow up with your provider as needed and keep up the proper daily hygiene and go from there.
Grace, I was fine all these days. Now all of a sudden, I have a mild itching, I can't tell if I'm manifesting it at times as a result of paranoia. Since I've never used a condom, I tried one 3 to 4 days ago, ever since then I have an itching sensation, very mild pain on my balls, and penis at times. It is not continuous, it comes and goes. Should I be concerned? I've never pulled my foreskin all these years, so I've been stretching it and have been successful, and it does cause a little pain when I do it. Could this be a reason?
Once if you get a fungal infection, are you prone to it for the rest of your life? What is happening with me?
