hsv 2

i noticed sores on my penis 4 months back. i went to my doctor but the results were 0.8 and now after 3 months later i took another test for hsv 2 now it shows 0.10 . i want to be sure of what this means ? please help me i'm deeply confused !

I wouldn't bother with any further testing.

are you sure this isn't a fungal infection?

i used protection all the time  i have had sex only 2 times my entire lifetime . im 30 years old. the rash is my scrotum , as of i used to get penile rashes due to my sle. but i want be sure of wat tests should be done !

have you been having unprotected sex that you need to cover your std testing bases from?

do you still have your rash?

thank a ton :) i was depressed and confused. grace your a life saver ! and do you recommend any other tests such as urine culture and rectal culture to make sure i dont have any virus ?

your results are clear negatives if you are having hsv2 igg blood testing done. you won't get a zero as a result on the testing.

i have been advised to follow up  the hsv 2 blood report. the recent blood report say i may be in the borderline negative that is 0.10. does this mean i may have the virus. i have been recently been operated for pinodial sinus, and the wound is still not healing i wanted know what kind of cultures to i take now up now ? and i have lupus since 2004 ! pls reply asap because im not able to cope with the feeling of being infected!

are you having type specific herpes igg blood testing done?

do you still have symptoms?

did they do any cultures on your symptoms when you had them originally?
