@fleetwood20 thanks for your reply sir
i forgot to mention, more or less a week after encounter, i had this nasty sore throat. my tonsils almost covered with white like a strep throat. i also have a fever during that time. is it possible that it was my primary outbreak?
i went to the ENT doctor and gave me cilyndamycin to take 4x day for a week. and it heals my throat.
If this is herpes, then it is more likely that you have had an oral HSV1 infection for quite some time. An initial outbreak would occur 2-10 days after infection. What you are having (barring any sexual activity of concern in the 2-10 days leading into the issues with your mouth) would therefore need to be a recurrence. The implication being that you cannot know when you were infected.
In most instances, infection of oral and genital is independent and the virus remains limited to the one location. This does not prevent you from obtaining the other type in the other location. Hence with an oral infection there is no indication that you have genital herpes or are in any way infectious below the belt.
I would suggest that testing is a good idea here. As it is three months, you can get a full STD panel and be confident in the results. Explicitly ask for IgG antibodies type specific for HSV1 and HSV2.
From there you can assess your risks to future partners.
