Tested yesterday...pretty scared...

Hello, I'm just trying to get some feedback. I was tested for herpes via swab in June 2014. The test came back negative. Since then I have been experiencing what I think could be herpes symptoms ie. Genital burning and itching, lower back ache, shooting pain in my hip, headaches, I even had a cold! However, I have had no blisters from what I can tell and I am assuming you would know if you had open blisters. Can anyone tell me if they have also experience these symptoms without blisters? I had a blood test done yesterday, I have to wait 7 days and I am so freaked out!

Congrat!!!! I was tested negative for HSV2 by WB.  

I hope u can get the bottom of what's causing all your issue but many times it maybe stress driven too.  I had leg burning ( only left leg) lower back pain, groin pain... I just got an MRI today for spinal to see if these are caused by some neruo situation or compressed disc.  I also did EMG as well.  
However my leg burning went away after I got my WB neg result so not sure if that was all stress driven.  I still get lower back pain but now less stressful so don't notice it as much.  The only real complain is still my vulva discomfort.  So not sure if it's ureaplasma related so I took high dose of antibiotic so hope in a week I will feel much better.  This has been going on for 10 weeks now :(.

Little to no symptoms of anything today! I am, however, very tired due to lack of sleep because of worry about this. Also, my upper back hurts, but I fell asleep on my couch this morning and was sleeping funny. Sigh...I can't wait to know....but if the test results come back negative, I'll possibly have something else to worry about!

Well...what they had on file was pending, no test results in yet. The nurse practitioner said she will keep an eye on my chart and let me know if there is anything, she knows how worried I am and knows my doctor is away all next week. They explained to me that because I didn't have any blisters on my mouth, ever, that the igg test will be more accurate for me.

Apologizing for the spelling mistakes. Also, I want to add none of this pain is severe or debilitating, I am no pain now and when I'm not thinking about it, I feel completely fine. I got the igg test done, in Ontario, Canada this is the free test. The one that differentiates between hsv-1 and hav-2 is $140.00. I kind of wish I would have gotten that one done. Positive or negative results, at least I'll know where I stand.

Thank you for your support...I've had tingling in my leg, mostly up thigh, tingling and burning in my back area and bottom, although I haven't had anal sex. I'm scared, but kind have already made peace with it. At this point, I can't see it being anything else. My test results should be in Tuesday...but I will likely call Friday to see if they're in yet. I read your post...and I'm a bit confused...sorry to be blunt and ask, or maybe I didn't catch it, but are you positive? Your doctor does sound berry knowledgable at all...I'll read it again.

Ur experience sounds a bit like mine (you can read my story on my posts).  If your symptoms are not herpes related ... It may be something else happening.  I been having these burning feeling around my vulva for more than 8 weeks, along with burning leg and lower back pain ( the burning leg and back pain has gone away).  I testes for everything that my obgyn can think of.... Everything came back negative.  So she tested for ureaplasma and this came back positive.  I am not sure if ureaplasma caused all my symptoms but I just started on antibiotic.  Some said its std ... Other doc said no...so whatever but it can be cured thru antibiotic.  So you may want to check into that if all other mainstream test comes back neg.

Unfortunately, I have pain in my bottom too. I have a pre existing dermatitis skin condition and have always had bumps on my bottom that are likely folliculitus. However, right now I am pretty uncomfortable. There is a tiny open area inside, and of course I'm freaking out! There is only one, with no crust, and no redness around it. I dunno, I'm just very paranoid and everything I am experiencing is heightened.

Hi and welcome, the symptoms your mentioning do not suggest a pending herpes outbreak at all. There is a term for a pending outbreak called Prodrome but that would be more as described by many as a "tingling" but should not last more than a few days before a sore develops.
Do let us know your blood test results.
