Hi,

My boyfriend has a very tine red dot (flat not painful or itcy) on the head of penis), lower back pain, tights pain, legs pain, very small pimple inner right right (not painfull or itchy). We are so scared if he has herpes or not ...

Any help...

Are they need to have lesion fluid to do a swab test or they can do swab test on the lesion without any fluid come out from the lesion ?

Is this possible to have a tingle in the top of penis then you have a lesion in the scrotum ?

THe tingle last for a few min for 2 days (around 3-5 min twice of each day )

What the different HSV2 strains symptoms ?

Some folks had : pimple. some blister, some get both, some nothing, some nerve pain with lession, some nerve pain without leassion... IS that related to different strains ?

they are all basically the same and the tests we have look for the traits they all have in common.

unless you are involved in a research study, having more than 1 strain of hsv2 in your body is meaningless.

I'm still do not understand it.. Is this mean the blood test cannot detect all HSV2 strains ?
How I can know if I have one or more than on strain ?

yes there are but they aren't significant at all. one strain of hsv2 doesn't cause more ob's than another does.
