I want to thank you for your help. I have another question? The "rash" is still there. But now its just a few pimple like things on each side. They are not clusters... Could this still be an ob? Nothing is blistering or popping or scabbing over.... I am so confused. There is also still no pain or itching. The bumps kind of come and go....I went for a bike ride tonight and now it seems to be more inflamed. I guess my biggest concern is why it is still there. It has been there since about August 28th. Not going away. Any ideas.... should I still treat it like its an ob? Or should I go to the dr?
Thank you for all your help.

Hi. That's what I am doing. Thanks for your help. My first ob was a lot different and not anywhere close to where the "rash" is. I guess its nice that it doesn't itch or isn't painful.
Hi Mazzie. Herpes can present in a number of ways. One of mine - near the tailbone - does look a bit like a rash. However, it's usually accompanied by itching and slight pain.
The other thing is that a lot of things look like H. Your rash might not be that at all. I do think it's wise to exercise caution as you're doing and treat it the way you would any recurrence.
There is no itching and no pain, just the visible rash. I wish there was a definite way to tell whether or not its a breakout. I guess I will just keep taking the meds the way I have been and treat it like it is an ob. Thanks again for all your help.
thanks for your help. I do not have any blisters that I can see. Just red bumps that kind of come and go. I did press on the rash and it some spots go white and some bumps stay red. I am new to this virus and not sure how to tell what is and what isn't a break out.
Also are you caucasian? If so depress and area of the rash, does it go white? If yes then it is not likely to a herpetic outbreak.
Hi, a rash is not consistant with herpes lesions. The are more clusters of blisters.
