Testing/Probability Question

I "hooked up" with a guy last night who has herpes. He didn't have any active sores, but I know you can still get it even if there aren't any signs of it. We didn't have sex but there was some genitals near genitals unclothed "frottage" (gross word). I did think I was being careful to make sure my "important parts" weren't touching his, but I was drunk and can't really be sure. Finally, the question: so how long until I can get tested (the blood test)? Would the antibodies be in my system already just a couple of days after? Or do I need to wait longer for the test to be more accurate? Or do I just have to wait around for some seriously tense weeks for an outbreak to happen? Also, what are the chances that I contracted herpes from this situation - low enough that I shouldn't be freaking out as much as I am, or reasonable? Thank you.

naked outercourse is incredibly low risk for herpes.  you don't need any testing from this encounter!

Hi Question, your experience was low enough not to be freaking you out. Its not frottage that contracts  but open sore to open sore. Symptoms can appear  in 6 days after exposure and you need to wait 3 months for proper testing. and its a blood test.
Im sure your ok. just stop the frottage and find a life partner.
