1)Is this is herpes???
A: It possibly could be due to the time frame. Even if you were using a condom there is still a chance if her sore was open or if she was shedding or having an outbreak, she risks a higher chance of spreading it to you, with any genital to genital touching.
2)do I need to get tested???
A: I would get tested if you still have that open lesion, during your first "outbreak" is the best time to get tested. But, if you lesions are starting to heal or have already healed, this cold lead to a false negative, due to the fact that your lesions are not "present' and the virus is "new". (This is if it is even herpes.)
3)after how many days do I need to test???
A: if you still have your lesion, or lesions I would go and get a swab test done. If not, the typical time frame is anywhere from 2-4 months for antibodies to build up which is in your blood.
3)what are the basic symptoms for herpes???
Symptoms really can be different from each person. A lot of people experience lesions in their genital area, buttock or thighs. A lot of them during the healing process will "scab" and these lesions can lead to itching and burning.
You would most likely know if you were having a outbreak, a lot of people experience a mild fever, fever symptoms, multiple clusters of these outbreaks.
What you are experiencing could be multiple things and not just herpes. If you are experiencing any symptoms, I would call your doctor within the next few months and get a blood test completed.
To answer you questions:
1. I doubt either the sore on the CSW or you is herpes.
2. I'd only consider a swab of the area that is red at most, most likely given one time protected sex this is nothing.
3. Get a swab now if you need comfort.
4. You would most likely get a cluster of small lesions with little blisters and bumps within.
