One red bump on penis shaft after protected sex

I had protected sex with a girl who I believe was std free and about 2 days later a red bump appeared on the shaft of my penis. Its not very painful unless I push down on it, almost like a zit on your face. It was the first time I had sex in about 7 months so I didn't know if it was a reaction to wearing a condom again. I pan on getting it checked out tomorrow, but I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

If thar area was covered by the condom then there is no risk for hsv.  Hsv lesions progress rapidly from red spot to fluid filled blisters in a day or two. If this does not progress or you dont get other flu like symptoms then hsv would be HIGHLY unlikely. As it stands I doubt hsv on this. If it does progress get in to see a Dr and get it swabbed and tested.
Hope this helps
