herpes

To start I have had unprotected sex before....

Here is my story.

After a unprotected sexual episode with a female, who later tested negative for all, I noticed some unusual sopts on my penis. Saw two dr's rt away, one in a walk in clinic and one with a derm, both said it did not look like genital herpes "dont worry"!!! (i was manic)..
So to make sure everything was ok I got tested.. negative for all but genital herpes.. the igg came back positive @ 1.22... the base is 1.10, anything over is genital herpes..

SOOO I bring these results to my derm and he told me that I should not worry b/c the results were not skewed enough to diagnose genital herpes!!

My symtoms were diagnoced as trauma from my sexual encounter.....
Embarrased!! I asked my partner to get tested, to be honest and to be sure  and she had came back negative for
everything... whewww!!

Almost a year later and months since my last PROTECTED encounter, I am noticing a tingling burning sensation underneath the head on the right side of my penis..
I thought it was irritation from my bathing suit velcro and since have been looking at it ten times a day since, that was a month ago!!! and have not noticed any blisters/sores or clusters!!

SOOO I go to my Dr's, Both my general doc and Derm say it is nothing!!
So I celebrate by masterbating... Now i am noticing vertical red cut, not more than a mm long on under the head of my penis in the same area!!!
Back to square one.... I am going nuts.....

AM I being hypersensitive? Am I being manic? AM I using the power of suggestion on myself?
Someone Help..

The first test was actually positive....although it was what is considered a low postive. You can probably go back to the dr and get another test to see where you stand now...the problem with herpes is that it can manifest itself in so many different ways that its difficult to pinpoint without the obvious classical symptoms....I would go back to the dr and get the cut checked out and then maybe ask for another test to know where you stand...

Hi, I dont mean to freak you out, and i know what thats like because my boyfriend just had an unexpect herpes sore, he didnt know he had herpes. neither did i. But after this stressfull incident i have read every article on the net i can find about herpes...and while the cut is still fresh (hopefully) i suggest you get it swabbed immediatley because although a little uncommon, i have read that herpes can sometimes take the form of small cuts. this usually happens on the first breakout. Your case could be anything, but just to be safe i would reccomend getting swabbed while they can still acces the sore
