Thanks for your kind response, you are really helpful...
This will have nothing to do with herpes which in the end is an infection of a nerve ganglion. If you have any concerns then obtain testing for STDs explicitly requesting herpes at 12 weeks. That will be enough of a window for all possible STDs to appear in blood/urine.
They will be negative I'm sure. Your are stressing and I would suggest this is irritating your bowel.
Boss,
for the last 10 days, i juz feel my motion is producing a bad and different smell. is that because of herpes or anything else.
Do i need to go for further testing??
Appreciate your kind response.
Thanks for your prompt reply...
Once you are infected with HSV, you are infected for life. There is no medication you can take (or need to take) before or after infection that will change this.
You have no reason at all to suspect a herpes infection occurred with the sex worker.
60% or more of the population have an oral HSV1. There is no reason to suspect that the sex worker has any higher chance of being infected with HSV1 orally than anyone else, such as your future wife.
Sorry to trouble you, can you be more clear for the below 2 statements, i couldn't get u properly..Plss
There is nothing you can do about HSV once infected, you will develop antibodies. However I doubt you will as a result of this episode.
Your future wife is as likely to have oral herpes as the sex worker.
Your mouth issue has nothing to do with receiving oral.
Your tests show you do not have any form of HSV. Unless you have genital symptoms within two weeks of the episode then it is not at all likely you were infected with HSV.

Hi,
Thanks for your prompt response.
Is there any possibilities that the HSV ratio may increase in future ??
Or, do I need to get any treatment to control this.
Will this affect my sexual exposure. January 2015, I m getting married.
Please post your own questions out of respect for orbit and it will be answerd there.
Grace,
Can I ask you a question? Sorry to interject. I was in a relationship with a woman for about a year. We had unprotected oral sex probably 10 times. I found out she was hsv-1 positive only. I was not hsv1 or hsv2 positive before we had our relationship which ended almost 15 weeks ago. I have not been with anyone else since. I haven't had any herpes symptoms and I've been looking. My question is what is the likely-hood she could have transmitted her hsv1 infection to my penis and I still not show any symptoms up to this point in time? Would that be unusual?
you received oral sex so oral herpes for you wouldn't be an issue.
your basic urine test is clear and as you were already told by the doctor you saw, you are worrying needlessly.
always give and receive protected oral sex to protect yourself and save yourself this testing and worry!!!
