Symptoms of herpes - 24 hours after oral sex

Hello,

1 and a half days ago I received unprotected oral sex from a sex worker. I have had several symptoms that I am getting very scared about due to my stupidity and worry that I have herpes. My symptoms are:

* 3-6 hours after - slight dull lower abdominal pain above my genitals, on my personal left.

* 24 -26 hours after - head of penis red but not really any more sensitive however and dissapeared after 30 minutes, tingling and burning penis, slight ache in genital area, slight burning on inner thighs half way above knees and groin, anxiety, groggyness. Lack of appetite.

* 30 hours after - same as above, and slight rectal itch and hard black/green stool, rectum feels loose. No abdominal ache, fatigue (but I guess I could be feeling sorry for myself and guilty or cheating on my partner), no desire to go to toilet to urinate unless specifically drinking water in which case I urinate very frequently (every 5 minutes for 30 minutes for one glass of water), lack of power urinating and small amount of urine did not come out once but then just  came out on its own (This has not happened since.) Also some identifyable wind.

* 36 - 40 hours - only the following symptoms remain: slight rectal itch, desire to go to toilet but feels like wind. Frequent urination if I drink anything. Lack of appetite. Very infrequent, extremely light ache in groin/genitals. Main symptoms - heavy legs, heavy ache on inner thighs and towards / around knee area (above),  lack of energy to move legs and use my calves, clammy hands and desire to clasp hands and feet.

I am concerned this is Herpes and I wish I could turn back the clock.

Some medication I am on and wondering if they would bring up similar symptoms are:

- Ferrous Sulphate 200 mg (could this be causing abnormal stool?)
- Colecalciferol 20000 units

This is for very low Vitamin D and Iron count in blood and have beentaking them for 1 week now.

Due to low Vitamin D count I have had aches and pains previously, and wonder if this could be leading to my symptoms, however I understand that you cannot get symptoms of Herpes so quickly after infection.

Any of your expert help and advice is greatly appreciate.

At this point the best thing to do is to see your provider.  The bump being there for 4 days isn't going to be helpful for a culture.  However, have them look at it and see what they say.  Its best we leave the "what is it?" to the doctors to figure out.  We on the forum can't tell you because we can't see you. Another option is to call your local city health department and see if they know of a Free/Cheap STD clinic you can visit and have them look at you.  Planned Parenthood is also a good resource.

I have a pimple / bug bite looking bump Witt a White head half way between my knee and groin, inside right thigh. It is red and slightly raised the size of a tennis ball in diameter. I did have unprotected oral 2 weeks ago. Have also had aches pains and flu symptoms. My question is, what does a herpes sore look like - is wat I describe something else? I have no other visual symptoms apart from pins and needles in my legs and arms when I woke up this morning. The spot / bump has been there for 4 days now but doesn't hurt any more - was very sore initially.

I would apprecite you're advice.

Herpes symptoms do not hit you 24 hours after the event and won't disappear in 30 minutes of coming up.  Oral sex is a low risk activity and does not always result in a transmission of Herpes.  You can speak to your pharmacist about your drugs and what side effects they may have on you.  As they are trained in that area and I am not I will avoid that.

I should add that I am feeling very thirsty and that I have felt cold for the last 12 hours with very little sleep for the last 4 nights. I dont have a penile itch.
