Please. How to Treat Constant Burning/Tingling. Contagious?

No matter how much I google, I see people going off on a tangent about how they eventually break out, etc.

I've never broken out. Constant tingling, burning in my lips and thighs, lower face under my nose, mons pubis, sometimes it shoots down to my knees and strange sensation anally every once in a while.

What is the actual treatment for these particular sypmtoms -  constant tingling burning pain and irritation

and since I never break out and just deal with tingling and burning, am I contagious the entire time?

since the consensus is you can be contagious when you tingle before you breakout. But I don't get that endpoint
Its maddening. PLEASE help!

I can best help you if you get the actual test results to post here - e.g. hsv1 igg 4.3 and hsv2 igg 3. 4 or whatever they are.

the igg testing - I specifically asked for this not igm
I went for another blood test and the doctor told me I was positive for both. Pretty sad about it, withdrawn but what can I do. I just wanted to make sure i updated because trying to find answers the last few months was grueling to my psyche

I just wanted to update this post for any lone sould who has googled mercilessly like I did looking for help

Followup igg for hsv 1 and 2 - I do have it the herp.  My symptoms do not present as a cluster of blisters of anything.  Just a flare up of tingling and burning, undeniable. I get a one lone pimple under my right nostril (it has returned a few times), one small inflamed pimple on my upper right lip.  No lesions, no blister genitally just burning on inner thighs, mons pubis, with certain localized spots burning/tingling more than most over and over since early this year ( it is now June)

You know your body, you know what is abnormal, it is not always herpes!! Stress, other infections can be the culprit- But don't let anyone make you feel like you're crazy for questioning abnormalities.

Now I have a fun memory and a gift that keeps on giving from a guy who struggles with maintaining even friendships. I feel terrible about myself and my status but I know there is support and I'm just going to have to go through life with this

Hope this is a helpful insight to someone out there.

you need to see a neurologist at this point. these are not herpes symptoms.

to clarify further she said she didn't know what this could be, that she was stumped and this was so unusual

she gave me an exam, took swabs, checked - no lesions, nothing

and that my next step is to see an MD..

My tests have been negative

However I can't get any clear information from my partner. I've asked and asked and now we don't even speak

I just came from my appointment from the clinic.  No blood test because no sores. The doc said that my symptoms were very unusual for herpes, without an outbreak that she couldn't do much

The burning and tingling is unbearable at times. My lips (where they touch when my mouth would close) would hurt really badly.  I feel localized spots sting, same spots over and over again and I even expect to see something grow there (an outbreak) but it never happens.

The suggestion that its stress or that I'm imagining has all been made. However its been going on too long, and its too specific - especially when the burning/tingling switches from my entire lips to specific spots under my right nostril or my upper lip

or when the general tingling burning zone on my thighs/mons pubis turn into shoot stinging pains in the genitals

even on spot on my tailbone, repeatedly for weeks would tingle or sting then go away

I don't know what to do anymore.  I just want to know what I can do to calm these symptoms down and if I AM infected and yet to show on blood tests (which I will retest after some time), how do I prevent transmission if I don't know when I'm contagious with these symptoms present day in day out for weeks straight

Sorry if I'm not understanding correctly, but your tests have been negative to this point, right? Was the partner you are concerned about definitely infected with herpes?

no confirmation, first igg blood test after about 4 weeks of latest exposure, tingling lips from previous exposure about 3 months

said i was neg for hsv 1 and 2

now they just hurt and burn with no rest every day these last few weeks, along with those other symptoms

taking another test this morning
is suppressive therapy the treatment for these symptoms and until I get this am I considered continuously contagious?

What testing did you have done to confirm your HSV status? Are you currently on suppressive therapy?
