There are less outbreaks with genital hsv1 and it sheds less than hsv2 so you need to find out. Have a blood test also type specific.
You really should talk to your doctor about this. Also, I know some women have c-sections if they have vagina herpes. You can pass it to your child if you have an outbreak. Please talk to your doctor about this.
Thank you for answering i had the vaginal one. And dont know if it's type 1 or 2? Can you provide me information about the types? My first outbreak was in feb but haven't had one ever since. I did take antibiotics and i have extra pills just incase of an outbreak
Hi, which type of herpes do you have oral or vaginal and is it 1 or 2? if its genital the risk is really quite low and the risk time would be at giving birth. Work with your doctor on this and if its genital take antivirals to surpresss outbreaks. Dont be overly concerned about this if its genital. Worst case is that you would have a C-section.
