Is there any risk my kids could catch genital herpes from me?

I have HSV2, genital herpes. I have a 2 yr old, and an 8 yr old. I've been dealing with extreme anxiety, OCD, and worry about the children getting it from me. I know it's sexually transmitted, but I worry that on my clothes, sheets, dirty laundry, counter top, sink handles, they could get it somehow. I don't even like the idea of dead virus particles being around the house somehow. I wash my hands every time I go the to bathroom, but my husband does not sometimes. I'm constantly cleaning with rubbing alcohol.

Your children are at no risk from using the bathroom or sleeping on your sheets. There needs to be actual contact with the virus. Sink handles and the like are no risk. Wash your hands after going to the bathroom. That is sufficient. They will be fine!
