is this herpes?
I have recently been to the doctor with concerns about recent red itchy bumps on the folds of skinright next to my labia and where my leg meet. My panty line. She looked at and said it's 'gauding' 'chaffing' and to keep it dry. And that the fact I shave with water and soap may have started it, i've made it worse by continuing to shave like that and not address it. So to keep it dry and good bye. Now, however, I have the same red lil bumps on the side she seen and they hurt to touch. Burn when my legs are closed. And have been here since like june 10 or 12. Over a month. I am so worried and lose alot of sleep over this. I am worried I may have herpes. I looked at the symptoms for such std and sum of the same stuff match. I don't think these are blisterish however. Just really red and become raw after itching. I don't know wat to do, go back and demand she find something since she sent me home with nothing?? I won't even engage in sexual intercourse cause I am afraid I have something and do not wish to pass it along...please help!
please read the read before posting post on the forum as to the way the forum works. Not getting a reply in a day isn't all that unusual. this is a free forum. I work full time and have a family and do this volunteer so I certainly am not sitting around all the time ( as are none of the other volunteers here ).
have they been testing you for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally when you are seen?

has this happened after a sexual encounter. other than these bumps do you have any other reason to suspect herpes. could be a fungal thing. if it were me i'd go back and ask doc to swab it to find out a bit more. sounds uncomfortable though :(

also I noticed my butt crack itches too. Weird I think but I can only recall these things all happe ing around the same time. I woke up this morning and my throat 's been sore too. I mention this now after navagatin thru other ppl's questions & I realized this is something I am too experiencing I just didn't think to associate it with my 'girl' issue.
so can some one explain the burning itching feeling on the red bumps? What are those symptoms for......
no I am not still shaving, doc told me stop for a month or 2. The reb itchy bumps have never in my life been here like this. Razor bumps normlly are gone by now. These are over a month old and now burn frm rawness from itching. I hate it and think it's some sorta std
this doesn't sound at all like herpes.
