is this like herpes? or not

Alright, I'm scared to death of asking this, but I had an outbreak of pimple like things down around my vagina and anus. They itch occasionally but only if I have discharge or something, but they don't hurt and they don't have puss or anything that comes out of them. The skin will just break open if I scratch them and then they'll scab and be gone. This is the first time I've had this and all my partners have said they were clean and I haven't noticed any signs with any of them as to having these sort of things. I haven't had any flu-like symptoms, fever, or tiredness other than my lack of sleep anyway (I'm in college so sleep deprivation happens often). But I'm not sure what to do and it's freaking me out right now. I've looked at pictures of herpes and all other STDs and none of them look like this. It's just a bunch of bumps in one area and it's in all the moist parts down there, and almost looks kind of like razor burn but i haven't shaved in a couple weeks. Please help me.

Your campus clinic is the best place to start a work up for this. It's not something you want to put off no matter what the cause. These are unusual symptoms and need proper medical evaluation.

i know i need to get tested and i am as soon as i get enough money saved up for it.. but i just wish there was some kind of way to know that it wasn't herpes or that my symptoms have no relation to herpes.. just a little piece of mind would be nice lol

If you have had unprotected sex you need to get tested,it would be impossible for anyone here to say what is causing this it could be several things not neccesarily Herpes but like I said you need to get tested if you have put yourself at risk from unprotected sex regardless of what they told you about themselves, unless you know someone's sexual health for certain it's not really wise to trust someone you don't know well as far as STD's are concerned simply because many people are asymptomatic and may not even know they have Herpes,it's better that you take control of your own sexual safety than risk someone's word that you don't know anything about.
