Just one last thing...so if i have had a cold sore in the past then i have oral hsv 1 . So if some one gave me oral sex with a coldsore, because ive had a cold sore (hsv1) in the past would i be immune to it in a way ?
Ive had none of the above yet. Ok thanks once again gracey still 50/50 at this stage ?
Classic outbreaks would be obvious blisters ,quite a few of them and lots of pain.

Would it be very noticable even at this stage? i havent felt no pain down their. i had to ask my mother if ive ever had a cold sore and she cannot ever recall me having one but isnt 100% sure? I am sorry what do you mean by "classic" ob? i have never had a herpes blood test done before either. thanks again jj
It's 50/50 at this point.
If you did contract it , chances are that it would be very noticeable - you wouldn't have to ask what to look for if you were experiencing it. Typically folks who contract hsv1 genitally don't already have it orally so they have a very "classic" ob. Can you recall ever having a cold sore yourself? Have you ever had a herpes blood test before?

Thank you for repyling to me Grace. So Grace basically in the next two weeks if i do have the virus down their i will know about it and it will be painful? What will the lesions look like?. Does this also include a painful rash. What do you think my chances are of being infected at this stage many thanks again
Yes cold sores are oral herpes.
In the future when a partner has an active cold sore, they shouldn't be performing oral sex on you.
At this point should you develop any obvious and painful lesions in the genital area, see your provider within 48 hours of their appearance for proper testing and treatment. If you don't notice any obvious an dpainful signs within the next 2 weeks, chances are good you got lucky.
