long time

I was told i had herpes in 2001, Ive been married, divorced and a few partners after that with no outbreaks and no one catching herpes at all, will a test confirm if i do have herpes, what test ? and are they accurate ? I just may be eating right with no stress or it went away if i did have it, and i dont see a major concern seeing half the people in this country have it anyway. What do you think? thankyou for your time

I encourage you to read the herpes handbook at www.westoverheights.com. It's filled with terrific and accurate info on herpes for you to learn more at. it's free to read online or print out to read at home.

You should follow up on all this with a type specific herpes igg blood test to see if you have hsv1 or hsv2. sounds like perhaps youjust had a visual diagnosis back in 2001.

sorry for the delays in responding, I need to back up. Emergency room doctor in the early 80s said i had herpes, I dont remember how he diagnosed it. Then another breakout in 2001 which was far less painful, just a few blisters on penis near the base, since then plenty of sex with others (female} and no transmission to anyone. maybe im in denial or just wishfull thinking /but is there a true acurate test and is there any proof if im not breaking out that someone can still catch it from me? . so far no one has.
