outbrake lasting over a year?

hello, my concern is my doctor told me i had herpes about a year ago after i asked him to check something out, he went ahead and burned the sores off with liquid nitrogen, but they came back in the same place about a week later, i have done this twice since then only to have them return about a week later both times, the thing im wondering is why wont they go away and it doesnt seem normal that they are not sore or itchy and have been there for over a year now and just wont go away no matter how many times i burn them off.

thank you.

no, hpv is completely different from herpes.

some folks do have a humdinger of a time with warts. continue to follow up with a dermatologist for treatment. you might want to try aldara at this point too to see if you can get your body jump started into fighting off the hpv better.  it's  a pain to apply several times a week for months and doesn't always work but worth a try at this point.

herpes isn't treated with nitrogen. are you sure these aren't warts or hpv?
