pimples vs herpes

so I get body acne pretty bad and since this ordeal (thinking I may have hsv-2) I have been worrying that some of my "acne" could be herpes lesions. I have had two painful spots that appear to be deep pimples over the past two weeks. They are inflamed and hurt to the touch. They both seem to have resolved under the skin within 2-3 days. Would this be consistent with a herpes outbreak that doesn't "break" and blister open?

Worried I am missing something and assuming it's my normal acne.

Thank you again. And I was not clear. I have body acne, no face acne. I have had body acne for years. The two questionable spots were on my upper thighs.

They stayed under the skin though so I think you answered my question with the 2nd answer you gave.

Thanks again

Hi, if your worrying that you are having hsv2 outbreaks on your face, dont as this is extremely unlikely as prefers the genital area. Have a blood test to confirm your hsv status.
And yes herpes would breakthrough the surface and not stay under the skin.
