Hi grace,
Thank you for your response. I did make an appointment with my PCP but it will be two weeks before she can see me and I was afraid the symptoms would disappear before then.
The blisters on my shoulder are starting to disappear which scares me because that just adds to my worry that this is herpes and it will be completely gone before the doc can see it for confirmation! As anxious as I am over this encounter I cannot imagine waiting 4 months for a blood test.
I am afraid that I will spread this to my children if it is herpes...
so you weren't seen for your symptoms even though they are causing you this much anxiety?
is this herpes from this encounter? no it is not.

10 days ago I had a massage/ handjob from a "professional". She only touched me with her hands, but last thursday I noticed on my shoulder 3 what look to be blisters. Not really hurting or itching but I picked at one until a clear liquid came out. What are the chances I received HSV2 from this encounter?
Do you think this could be herpes? Should I be concerned?
Thanks for the comment swowwer. Any chance Grace could weigh in here? The blisters on my shoulder have remained constant for the last 24 hours, no other symptoms though. I have also read the doctors posts on herpes from the past and the virtually non-existant chance of getting an STD or herpes from hand to gentital contact.
Yet, here I sit with what appear to me to be symptoms and of course all the images on the net are way worse than what I show. I am just concerned that while she was massaging me, she gave me herpes on my shoulder through a few acne points. I have been worried sick for 7 days now.
