sex again?

With hsv-1, will i ever have normal sex again? i am freaking out because i cannot figure out where i got the virus, how i got it on my genitals! my husband and i "date" another couple. they all insist they have no stds (one thing we openly discussed before sex). if thats true, then how did i get hsv1 on my genitals? i have told my husband. how do i know how long i have had the virus? how do i locate a doctor who specializes with herpes (virologist?).  is there anyone out there who has the same situation as me and has a normal sex life? i have no blisters until i have sex, then i get one blister, same place, every time, with a large lump on my vagina! how am i going to continue having a sex life like this?

no i didnt. im scared. although there has been some discussion with my spouse about it, i dont have anyone to talk to about this. i cant get in to see my doctor. i know if i tell my spouse everthing i've learned about the virus, he wont want to have sex with me anymore despite the fact he loves me and we've been together for years. i'm trying to find a virologist in my area, but with no success. omg, i'm scared.

did you ever go for a more proper exam and testing?

You aren't going to have herpes flare up every time you have sex.
