small bumps around lips extending to chin herpes?

I noticed these small bumps around my lips and I was wondering if they could possibly be herpes? A few days ago I had a burning sensation around my lips but the sensation went away and now it's rather irritating. They're not red, they're my skin tone, all around my mouth and they're small only really noticeable if I stretch my skin out. I'm not sure what it is but the burning sensation I experienced makes me think otherwise. I haven't had any sexual contact but I do have genital herpes. I was wondering if maybe I infected my mouth also?

I don't have any visible sores at the moment. They're just tiny bumps, multiple tiny bumps. All around my lips. They're not exactly on my lips and they also extend to my chin just a little. It's really odd but I guess I'll have to get a culture test done to find out what it is. I just hope it isn't HSV-2 on my mouth.

Are there any sores you could go get swabbed and cultured by a dr. to find out if that's what happened?

I'm no expert so I could be wrong, but there is a very very very low likelihood you would have transmitted your genital herpes to your own mouth. It could still be oral herpes (HSV-1) that you acquired by some other method of contact, so I hope you get it checked soon.
