Please Help!!

Hey, so this is tricky because yesterday I developed a rash on my scrotum and little red spots around the base of my penis, it hasnt grown at all since yesterday and it does not itch except on occasion, mainly when i wake up and am a little sweaty. There aren't any blisters or anything either, its just a red rash that is sort of tough and bumpy. I had unprotected sex with a girl about 2 weeks ago and again 4 days ago and it manifested itself yesterday. I go it checked at a clinic in the hospital and she said that it was to early to properly diagnose it without blood tests but she said it was most likely herpes. I am freaking out and minutes feel like years, I really need a better assessement but the clinics are really far away except one that is closed on sundays. I know it is a little vague of a description but can you tell me if it sounds like i have herpes or not?? Could it possibly be irritation??

not likely to be herpes. see your provider promptly for a proper exam for your new rash.

Ok, its been just over two months, and I have got this weird rash on my neck, I was wondering A. could this rash be a herpes outbreak related to my first potential outbreak B. is it possible for there to be an outbreak on my neck after I had a potential one on my scrotum.
Thanks.

antivirals won't make herpes heal that quickly.

at this point you need to wait until 3 months after the last time you had sex and get a type specific herpes igg blood test done. If you get a return of symptoms before then, be seen promptly for an exam.

alright so, this is my dilemma, its been awhile now... I had this rash and the doc at the hospital was sure it was herpes, but I went to a walk-in clinic 2 days afterwords and the rash was gone when the doctor went to check it. The thing is though, that I was on anti-virals which are supposed to take the rash away. SO the doctor said, I may or may not have herpes, the rash had vanished so much that they couldnt take a swab to check. And so, I am not sure whether the anti virals worked super well on the rash and made it vanish or it was just irritation, i have no idea. does anyone else have any more experience with this? should i be acting like i do have herpes with women??

so its almost definately herpes, there are little blisters appearing and its sstarting to feel wierd down there. im worried cause ive been touching my eyes and i read that during a primary outbreak it can travel to other areas of your body via your hands, to your eyes and what not

a lesion culture of active symptoms would be much more helpful at this point.

this really sounds more like a fungal infection than herpes. definitely seek out a 2nd opinion tomorrow.
