worried

Last year I had a really bad case of what the DR said was BV.  I had tons of thick yellow discharge.  A few days after I had a few (2) small little pimples or something filled with white fluid (almost resembling discharge).  I picked at the little fluid sacs with my nail, and they went away never forming a scab.  I took the medicine for the BV and all has been fine since.  I am about to start a new relationship and now all of this past stuff is filling my head as I am worried it could have been herpes.  Does the discharge sound like herpes?  I had no burning when urinating, and I assume that with as much discharge as I had, if it were herpes I would have had a major outbreak.  I have been tested before and been fine, but this time I am super scared to get tested.  I recently had vaginal surgery and didn't have any type of out break- wouldn't surgery have triggered an outbreak if I was infected?

Sounds like your Dr was correct with you having bv as this does not sound hsv related.

if the sores were herpes would they have gone thru the ulcer stage and scabbing- is that true in most cases?
That is true in the vast majority of cases.
