We have someone in our office who has had TB several years ago.  We now have someone who has had to have a TB test for another job she has and she wants to know if she can be around the person with TB without jeopardizing that person?  In other words, will her TB test effect the TB person?

No, this person was done with treatment years ago.  Our question isn't fear of this person; we don't want to do her any harm if we have a TB test and are around her.

It depends on if this person is finished with treatment or not. They should not release a person unless they have had two negative sputum cultures.  If the person is infectious she/he shouldn't be in the public, but if she is then if you were with them all day you could potentially contract the TB organism and the skin test could come up positive. I would try to get more information about this person.
