Peeing Blood.

I am in the Dominican Republic. I cant get medical attention very easily right now. I figured I had a bladder infection becuase I have a pain below myribs, and it hurts for me to go pee. I went to the pharmacy early and got some antibitics.  You can get anything here over the counter. She gave me Ethical ciprobiotic Uro, and an antiinflamitory; Celeco, celecoxib 400mg.  2 to 3 hours later I am now peeing alot of blood. How concerned should I be, becuase I feel slightly wonky and a little scared. I cant get ahold of my friend to take me to the hospital and cant go out alone now becuase its late. Is this normal to pee blood? Is this prescription to high for me?

Dont worry too much.  Also I found putting a hot water bottle by my bladder helped. If I think of anything else I will post it. Take care.

Hey,  Im still on antibiotics. Im home back in Canada now, and have been seeing my doctor. I finished the antibiotics that I was on, and now Im on some more for a few days becuase we think that the infection is still there. If it doesnt go away we are going to have to look into something esle. I think now that having blood in your urine when you have an infection can be fairly normal in extreme cases. The blood went away after a day for me. Too be honest in the dominican republic I drank for like 4 months, so it was just a matter of time before my bladder rebelled. For now Im drinking lots of water and trying to stay away from alcohol. Im feeling better and better everyweek. Thank you for your response to my worries. I hope you feel better soon,

Also over the past four days, before it hurt to pee. I have had a pulsating pain below the center of my ribs, above my belly button. Its tightens up and really hurts and ten it goes away. Every 10 or so give or take.
