Firstly a quick question, can IBS cause my tongue to have a thick yellow coated gunk on it??
Have you ruled out a yeast infection (Candida/thrush)? That could also cause digestive upset. Have you taken antibiotics recently? You could try taking probiotics, eating yogurt, and limiting sugar and starch in your diet to see if symptoms improve?
