pain in the left side of my abdomen

okay, let me begin with saying i have been having this pain for quite a while now...
when i went to the doctor a while back i was diagnosed with IBS because i was getting sick all the time before i would go to school
i have problems with anxiety and have panic attacks pretty much everynight and i somewhat think the reason i was getting sick was because i was nervous...
anyway, i have been having stinging pain in the left side of my abdomen that hurts really bad and it will increase then decrease again and hurts when i touch the area where it is or move any certain way, does anyone have a idea of what it could be or think i should see a doctor about it or if its just nothing.... id really appretiate it
(also, i got tested for a urinary tract infection and it came back negative so i dont think it is that.... ) thanks..

I would recommend that you see a gastroenterologist about this.
