I have been diagnosed with ibs and I seem to react when eating wheat such as cramps, I was wondering if I ate a little gluten everyday would help me to overcome this intolerance?

Hi, its best you don't do things randomly. The pain you're experiencing could be due to an allergic reaction. If you haven't undergone formal allergy testing, that might be beneficial.  Under a doctor's supervision, foods that have caused allergies in the past can sometimes be added slowly back into the diet. So, please consult an allergy specialist. Regards.

To my understanding, any digestion related problems (gluten and lactose especially) occur when there are certain proteins that require enzymes to break them down.

So, basically the struggle we have to break these down is actually not an allergy, but a lacking of certain enzymes that can handle the digestion of such proteins.

I also tested negative for Celiac, but I have a sensitivity to gluten.  And, I am completely lactose intolerant.
