strange sensation

I have a strange buzzing, vibration feeling inside my rectum. Someone suggested an overactive sphincter muscle, any other ideas? Should I get a colonoscopy just to be sure?

Before colonoscopy, rectoscopy is possible. If a polyp will be found, then you can have colonoscopy. If there is a history of polyps or colorectal cancer in your family, colonoscopy would be the first choise.
