I am a 33yr old female, have been diagnosed with ibs years ago. the last 3 months i have been getting so constipated that it will take 3-4 days and laxitives/enema's to be able to go. when i finally do go it feels as if i had a ''poop'' baby, my back and stomach are severly sore. The last time i think i was compacted, the stool was right there but i was unable to  go. It is starting to really worry me that something is eally wrong. This is normal for me latley, but i know it isn't normal at all...help?

Although probiotics might help with your symptoms, they almost surely won't cure your constipation.  Have you tried a high fiber diet with lots of water (64 ounces/8 cups/2 liters) and lots of fruits and vegetables?  What testing did you have done before the IBS diagnosis?  Do you take any laxatives regularly?

try this; go to vitamin store (for best price) buy super high culture count Pro-biotics and take enough for 200 billion daily x 1 mo. , cut to 100 x 1 mo, cut to 50 billion, and stop at 25 billion daily and see if all your problems don't  just go away,
now I assume u know how to get fiber in your diet already and that u know not to drink soda but water only and tap is best
good luck
