Any women on here conceive w/ renal issues?

I am trying to conceive. I am in my 30's, good health, but the past couple of years was diagnosed with reduced renal function due to over use of NSAIDS. I have since stopped all NSAIDS, I do not have high bp, weight is ok, nephrologist does not see any issues. He says most of my nbrs are good and though my GFR is slowly rising (but still lower than I would like) and my creatine is a little high, everything else is ok and he says I should  not worry about this. Just curious.

Hi, I have nephritis so my kidney function is decreasing. I asked my doctor if I could have a child about 5 years ago. He agreed as I really wanted it but needed closely monitoring, I conceived easily and my function was around 50 % at that point. I was quite sick during my pregnancy and they struggled to control my bp due to not being able to be on my normal tablets. I now have a healthy but little 4 year old (She had to be born early due to my bp, 5lb4). It did decrease my function too by about 5% and I've been advised not to have any more but looking now, she is so worth it. Hope this helps
