Burning Sensation in Kidneys after Eating

Greetings,
Criatine .9, Bun 23, Protein Trace GFR >60.
Current Symptoms:
After I eat anything heavy (meat, salt, chicken, milk, etc) it feels like my lower back (flank areas) are burning (on the inside at the back).
History:
Last March, I had 2 successive CT Scans in Thailand with some sort of strong contrast media.  They warned of possible kidney damage because the scans were 23 hours apart.  5 hours after the second scan, I developed a very strong burning sensation in both of the flanks of my back - felt like my kidneys were on fire.  I went to the emergency room and my criatine was 1.0, so the doctor said not to worry...I drank about 4 liters of water anyway, and after about a week, the pain subsided.
4 Weeks ago, I was fasting for 4 days over the new years - just drinking orange juice.  The kidney pain returned, and this time, I haven't been able to get rid of it.  I have tried a diet high in raw vegetables and grains and that has helped alot, but it seems like I can't eat hardly anything without the flank burning to come after eating.
I had a physical last week with the results of .9 Creatinine, 23 BUN, GFR >60 Trace Protein in Urine, but the doctor didn't refer me to a nephrologist.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Phil

sorry I forgot to add this, but proteins will cause kidney pains as well. And according to what you ate heavy meals especially with meats and milk which is high in protein that could be the cause of the pains. Salt isn't good either, well too much of it anyway.

creatinine of .9 isn't bad so you shouldn't have to worry about that. The bun might be a little high depending on the lab. (all labs have different values of normal. ) Your age must be higher if your gfr is only 60 at .9 creatinine. which in that case should be normal. Flank pains are never good. Dehydration can cause it. I get it all the time. How much water do you drink? Even slightly dehydrated can cause kidney pains. If it started after the dye that doesn't surprise me. that stuff is really bad for kidneys. You haven't been taking any medicines like nsaids or anything like that have you? That causes it as well.
