Help please higher levels?

I am a 54 year old woman. My last creatinine level was 1.23 and 6 months later it is 1.34.
My gfr was 46 and now 41. My GP says it's fine. I have a neph and will see her in 3 weeks.
I was never told about limiting protein or asked to do any diet changes. So when I had my tests
I had had protein/red meat at dinner before test. What do you all think about the changes in levels?
TIA

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
The range of serum creatinine in an adult female is 0.6 - 1.1 mg/dl.Why had you got this test done? A high protein diet may increase creatinine levels. A rising creatinine level can indicate impaired kidney function. It is important to correlate the test results with clinical examination findings. Consult your doctor for more queries and assistance. Do keep me posted.
Best luck and regards!
