Kidney Disease

My Creatinine was 1.4, it is now 1.3.  My BUN was 16.  I do not know what it is currently.  My Glom Filt Rate, Est is 38.5 (L).  There was a note after my next to the last  blood workup that said:  Persistent reduction for 3 months or more in an eGFR /=60 mL/min/1.73 m2 may also have CKD if evidence of persistent proteinuria is present.  What does this medical jargon mean in common terms to a lay person?

Thanks so much for your response.  The only concern I had was when my Creatinine ran 1.5 the radioligist would only run half dye during a cat scan, said 1.5 was a little low.  The next time I had a cat scan it was 1.4, again the nurse had to check with the radiologist and he would only run half dye.  Last blood work displayed1.3, guess that's my concern besides the note that was added on the time before lasts blood workup.  HOpe you are doing well.  I just don't want to ever have to have dialysis.  Thanks agin,
Teecia.

I have almost the same numbers. todayI  found an article saying creatinine is normal at 1.4 which was encouraging. I am still looking for what can be done for a g.f. rate of 38. leni
